The video turkish cypriot identity crisis (February 2021) comes from a personal experience and displays an issue that we as turkish speaking cypriots face every day. So, I decided to express this issue to others. I have informally interviewed my friends, while they were expressing their experiences and feelings about this topic in their first language.

These issue of dividedness, division and borders have been a topic to many artists and my main influences for this piece are the artists Francis Alys, Tania Bruguera, Alfredo Jaar, Hans Haacke's Germania.
